1/23/10 The new hallway paint looks great and we look forward to completion of the exterior paint. Construction will begin on a new building on the back half of the property this year. Both of our units are on the front of the property but you might hear some construction sounds during the day.

11/21/09 Nov. and Dec. seem very quiet so far as the new back-of-property construction won't begin until January at the earliest. Some exterior painting will continue at some point.

10/15/09 Construction update: The new hot tub, pool cabana and landscaping look fantastic! The front elevator inspection was completed last month however the rear elevator is currently out of service. Our 2 units look great inside, as good or better than the pictures. The complex hallways are getting new paint this week and then new carpeting. The old carpeting has been pulled up so be prepared to see that. Also, we expect new painting to begin soon on the exterior complex walls. Construction on a brand new section in the back will begin soon. You can expect construction sounds and progress throughout the next year as we look forward to the opening celebration next year. Usually the evenings and weekends are nice and quiet. Enjoy!

	As a photographer from Denver, I enjoy the variety of waterfront photo opportunities on Galveston island. Our mountains provide few locations for dolphins, pelicans, or wading birds. We even use different fishing gear here, go figure. If you are not familiar with The Maravilla Resort check out the location photos here.
