1 Bedroom: we accept either checks or credit card through PayPal
2 Bedroom: we only accept checks because our IRA owns this unit.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Before 30 days, you have the option to pay 50% now. Then the balance is due 30 days prior to the check-in date.
Check-in/out times
Normal check-in time: 3 P.M.
Normal check-out time: 11 A.M.
Our cleaning staff arrives shortly after to prepare for the next guest.
Cancellation
Before 30 days of arrival:
A full refund will be returned if cancellation becomes necessary for any reason prior to 30 days before arrival, less a $50 cancellation fee.
Between 30 and 7 days before arrival:
No refunds will be given within 30 days of arrival; however the full monetary value can be used for reservations at a later date (less a $50 re-booking fee) within 6 months from the date of cancellation, at the standard rate for the new dates, subject to availability.
Between 7 days and 48 hours of arrival:
If cancellation occurs for any reason, including weather, over which we have no control, less than 7 days prior to arrival, half the reservation is lost, the remainder can be applied to a later date as explained above.
Less than 48 hours:
If you “no-show” and we cannot re-book, you will have no option to re-use the funds at a later date. If we can re-book then half the reservation value may be applied to a later date as explained above.
Confirmation
Confirmation of rental is assumed when the credit card or check payment has cleared your banking system.
Refundable Damage Deposit
$250 will be added to your credit card or additional check when booking. After the cleaners are finished and your room has been inspected, your credit card will be refunded $250 or damage-deposit check voided within 30 days if:
- Nothing is missing; towels, kitchen appliances, etc… (Our housekeeping staff keeps an accurate inventory.)
- Missing keys, $35 each
- No smoking odors; $200 extra cleaning charge.
- No pet odors; $100 extra cleaning charge.
- No damage to the property. Please treat it like your own home.
Please report any prior damage the day you check-in to the phone number listed on the refrigerator.
Age of guests
In order to maintain a family atmosphere at all times, GalvestonVIEWS rents to families and responsible individuals over the age of 25 ONLY. If requested, the responsible party must present a valid driver’s license. We do not rent to prom groups, graduation or spring break parties, sororities or fraternities. Failure to abide by these guidelines will result in immediate EVICTION. NO Exceptions, NO REFUNDS.
Keys
Directions to get your key and parking passes will be e-mailed to you.
$35 fee for each lost key.
If you find yourself locked out of your rental property after hours, please call our office and an agent will be dispatched to unlock the unit. Lockouts will be charged $25.00 and will be paid directly to the responding agent at the time of service.
Directions
Exit 61st St. in Galveston from I-45 and take a right onto 61st St. Continue to the end of 61st (you’ll get wet if you go any farther!), take a right onto Seawall Boulevard. You will travel west for about 3 miles. (Keep the water on your left.) The Maravilla is located at 9520 Seawall Boulevard. Coming from Louisiana and points east exit I-10 in Winnie, travel south, then west to the Bolivar Ferry, and once in Galveston go straight ahead to Seawall Blvd.(keep the water on your left) continue to 9520 Seawall Boulevard. The Maravilla is before the Seawall ends, and the West beaches begin.
Parking
Enjoy the shaded covered parking during the summer. We have pre-paid for one parking pass, just check-in with the front desk to receive it. Additional $10 passes may be purchased if space available.
No boats, buses, jetskis, bicycles, campers, RV's, trailers, motor homes, etc. are allowed on property.
Temperature
Please be comfortable during your stay, however, when leaving for the day consider setting the temperature between 78 and 85. The air conditioner was newly replaced spring 2008 and will cool down quickly if the doors and windows are shut.
No Smoking
SMOKING ALLOWED ON BALCONIES ONLY. Our units are smoke free and we take this very seriously. A $200 cleaning fee will be accessed from the damage deposit.

Maximum Occupancy
WhataVIEW (1 bedroom) 6 people maximum per Galveston fire department.
OceanLoversVIEW (2 bedroom) 8 people maximum.
Pets
NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. Violators must remove any animals or leave. No refunds given. Guest may also be charged an extra cleaning fee, plus one night rental charge for loss of income due to down time.
Workout room
No children under the age of 18 allowed in the workout room without an adult.
BBQ
Absolutely no grilling is allowed on the balcony. Please use the grills provided on the grounds.
Garbage
Please bring trash out to the large collection bins behind the wood fences in the parking lot. Do not leave garbage out in the walkway.
Maid Service
Additional maid service can be arranged for an extra charge. Let us know a couple of days ahead so we can schedule this for you.

If you appreciate the extra touch our cleaners give, feel free to leave a little something or write a nice note.

Weather
In the event of a storm which results in a city mandated evacuation, refunds will be issued on a pro-rated basis.

Local phone service is available in the suite. Long distance calls are not allowed unless you have a phone card.
Taxes
Your invoice includes a 15% city and state lodging tax.
